An in-person musical celebration, marking the public release of 'Midnight Hill,' the debut album from Omaha-born/Knoxville-based Ben McLaughlin.
Though the fresh psychedelic-folk record was written and recorded mostly in solitude, McLaughlin arrives arm in arm with The Mystic Marauders. A group described as “what I imagine seeing the [Grateful] Dead at one of those Acid Test shows was like,” by local music aficionado and archivist Brian Meccia (of Quiet Ocean), the ensemble takes the songbook thru windier improvisational roads and exquisitely lush new heights.
Local heavy-hitters Horcerer and Sarrenna open the show. This concert will be recorded in front of a live audience.
